Tarrant County College is hosting the Fire Service Cancer Conference 2022 on Nov. 2 and 3. It's a one-day event and you can attend either day to earn 8 hours of CE credit (in-person attendance required). More

Are you ready to renew your certification(s)? The annual renewal period is rapidly approaching! You can renew any time from September 1, 2022 to October 31, 2022. (You cannot renew *before* September 1.)
If your certifications are current and you renew by October 31, the renewal fee is $60. If your certifications are current, but you lose track of time and you renew after October 31, you will have to pay the renewal fee of $60 plus an additional late fee:
1 to 30 days late = $30 late fee
31 or more days late = $60 late fee
Avoid late fees and renew on time!

TCFP will be hosting regional meetings in McAllen (08/09/22), Corpus Christi (08/10/22), and San Antonio (08/11/22). All meetings will start at 10am.
Members of our staff will be there in person to meet and greet attendees, answer questions, listen to concerns, and give updates related to commission news. This is a great opportunity to put names to faces and touch base with us in person!

The Texas Fire Service Hall of Honor Lifetime Achievement Award recognizes individuals from the fire service who have served their communities and the state of Texas with outstanding commitment and contributions to the Texas Fire Service.
This year, nominations for the award will close on Wednesday, August 31, 2022. See the event flyer.
Who can be nominated?
A current firefighter or someone retired from a career, combination or volunteer fire department
A member of the fire service who excelled in their dedication and service to first responders and citizens of Texas.
Criteria for nomination
