Texas Transportation Code Sec. 504.414, Professional Firefighter Plates, identifies the TCFP as a “Pass Through” agency for funds generated through the purchase of these license plates, to be transferred from the state treasury to the Texas State Association of Fire Firefighters. These funds shall be used for the purpose of making grants that provide emergency relief and college scholarship funds to professional firefighters and their dependents. This program is in No way managed or controlled by TCFP.
