The Texas Commission on Fire Protection (TCFP) is seeking qualified applicants for Marine Ad Hoc Committee
members to make improvements to the certification curriculum. Will review, edit and make changes to the curriculum, skills, test questions and the administrative code for the specified discipline.
Applications will be accepted through Friday January 10, 2025.
Every member appointed to a Committee must attend meetings regularly and must take part in subcommittee activities.
Regular committee meetings are held about once every three months. The presiding officer may also call a special committee meeting. Members must travel to Austin for these meetings unless TCFP allows members to participate in other ways (such as virtually via Microsoft Teams, ZOOM, etc.). Each meeting may last several hours and may require overnight stays for two-day meetings.
