Amanda Friedeck, a local business owner and community activist, was born in Corpus Christi, Texas to Silvestre and Melinda Rodriguez. Being raised in a military and law enforcement family, the family finally settled in Alice, Texas in 1998 to make their American dream happen: they established Silver Star Food Stores. With over twenty years of hospitality business experience, in 2021 Amanda launched BRANDS Marketing Group, LLC with her husband Garrett Friedeck. Amanda also holds a Texas Life License and partners with Primerica as an Independent Representative.
After graduating from Alice High School, Amanda obtained an Associate Degree in Culinary Arts from Le Cordon Blue College of Culinary Arts: Austin, a Bachelor's in Interdisciplinary (Education & Language) from Liberty University, and a Jurisprudence Masters in American Legal Studies (Business Law) from Liberty University's School of Law. She is currently pursuing a Doctorate at Liberty University's Helms School of Government with a concentration in Public Policy (Economic Policy).
Amanda has also served on many executive committee boards such as the Alice Housing Authority, the Alice Hub City Chamber of Commerce, and Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary Texas District 6 & 8621. Amanda is a mother of three children and resides with her husband Garrett Friedeck in Alice, Texas.
Ms. Friedeck's term will expire on February 1, 2029.
